One-day National Peach Festival was celebrated by the Agriculture Research Institute, Mingora Swat in close collaboration with Agri Tourism, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which was sponsored by Swat Agro-Chemicals at ARI, Mingora Swat, on August 2, 2024. The Agriculture Research Institute Mingora, Swat, and the Agriculture Extension Department, Swat, showcased fruits of various peach varieties approved by Agriculture Research Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through stalls. Moreover, many private pesticide and fertilizer companies participated in the festival by showcasing their products. The festival was attended by the Director General Agriculture Research, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Director Merged Areas Agriculture Research, professors from The University of Agriculture Swat and Peshawar, and many peach growers.
